Welcome Liberty!
Classical Acupuncture & Embodiment with Liberty Stevenson
Restore balance through classical acupuncture and somatic healing
We’re delighted to introduce Liberty Stevenson to The Hidden Sanctuary team. With over eight years immersed in Eastern healing traditions and two years in clinical practice, Liberty brings a rare depth of knowledge and an intuitive, compassionate approach to her work. She has trained and worked in respected clinics across Bristol, London, and Hampshire — and now brings her warmth and expertise to Lymington.
What is Classical Acupuncture?
Unlike modern acupuncture, which is often focused on symptom relief, Classical Acupuncture draws directly from the ancient medical texts. It treats the whole person — physical, emotional, and spiritual — and seeks to restore the body’s natural rhythms of health and vitality.
This makes it especially supportive for women navigating transitional phases such as:
Menstruation and cycle-related challenges
Postnatal recovery
Perimenopause and menopause
It is also highly effective for anyone experiencing:
Chronic conditions
Pain, inflammation, or injury
Stress and emotional overwhelm
Hormonal imbalance
Sleep or digestive disturbances
Liberty’s Approach
Each treatment is personalised, beginning with a friendly and grounded consultation. Liberty uses pulse diagnosis, observation, and gentle palpation to understand the body’s state in the moment. From there, she blends:
Classical acupuncture with ultra-fine, sterile needles
Moxa (warming herbal heat therapy)
Gua sha (restorative bodywork)
Somatic and embodiment practices to reconnect you with your own inner resources
Her sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are — easing discomfort, calming the nervous system, and gently guiding your body back to balance.
What to Expect
Many clients notice meaningful changes within just a few sessions. Liberty will help you find the right rhythm for your body and lifestyle, whether that’s regular weekly sessions or seasonal “top-ups” for ongoing balance. Over time, treatments often become less frequent as your system regains stability.
A First for Lymington
We are thrilled to announce that Liberty will be leading the very first multi-bed Classical Acupuncture clinic in Lymington here at The Hidden Sanctuary on Saturday 28th September. Private 121 sessions are also available.
A multi-bed clinic allows several clients to be treated in a calm, shared space — making it a more affordable way to access regular acupuncture while still receiving personalised, deeply restorative care.
This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the benefits of Classical Acupuncture in a supportive and accessible setting.
Spaces for this first clinic are limited — [book your session now] to secure your place.
